NOA not processed

I want to apply for my citizenship but my Notice of Assessment still has not been processed for 2020. It was a late filing and CRA has no ETA. I do have NOA for 2018,19 and 2021.

Does it really matter if the NOA is not processed yet even though I have submitted my tax returns?

You have done your part, that should be enough. Say "Yes" (Required) and "Yes" (Filed) for 2020 as well and go ahead with the application. That's what I would do.

You do not need to have an NOA for filing your citizenship application. It is sufficient if you have filed your taxes as long as you are required to file one
