No updates since Feb 13 - Outland

Hey,

There has been no updates at all since February 13th, 2025. No request for more information, or letter about VO transfer.

Is there anything I can do to get more information or does anyone have any information on what has gone wrong?

Here's my timeline:

Submitted: Nov 25
AOR: Dec 13
PA Eligibility: Dec 31
Sponsor Eligibility: Jan 02
Medical completed: Jan 13
Biometrics completed: Feb 05
Background completed: Feb 13

There's no indication anything has gone wrong. The period after submitting bio and medical and the next step happening is the longest and quietest. You can compare to tracker but this is normal processing.

This is similar to my application. Everything started off at the Sydney PO, we passed medicals Feb 13 2025, and haven't had any movements. I submitted a web form and found out that my file was transferred to the Port of Spain VO in Trinidad. Maybe submit a webform to find out any information they can provide. All the best!

I basically acknowledged how busy they were and thanked them for their hard work and diligence however at the same time if they can provide us with any updates on our application. Again just acknowledging and thanking I find goes a long way. All the best!

There is really no need to submit a webform. You will just be told your file is being processed. Your processing time is very normal and background checks is the longest part of the process. You can go many months to over a year for some cases without hearing anything. As long as your processing time is similar to other similar applicants then all you need to do is be patient. Following processing times for others going through family sponsorship with is the best way to get an idea of what you can anticipate about processing times. Would keep an eye on many profiles and profiles with a similarities to yours also helps.

hi there, my wife case AOR is two month earlier than you on Oct 25, her medical /finger print done on Feb16,2025. her sponsor eligible confirm letter saying her case is processed in Sydney, now her case not moving anymore till end of May, i called IRCC to know her case is outland and processing office is from China which i am surprised. I also sent webform for further info, IRCC in Beijing office responded same day to inform there is nothing can tell me just ask me to wait.
