No updates in my CIC account...

Hello members of this nice forum. My wife got an email notifying her our files are already at the visa office in Havana to process but I checked our cic account and I do not se any updates since July 26 which was when I recieved and email from them requesting my Schedule A. Is there any way to see the updates or it just takes long to see the update on the accounts? Thanks so much guys...

you don't receive messages all the time from IRCC.....you only receive messages when IRCC sends you request letters (e.g. request for medical, passport or additional documents) or providing an update.

If you receive email notification but did not receive the message online......the sponsor could call IRCC 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only) or you could send an email to the Visa Office processing your application.

Most straight forward Outland Spousal Sponsorship follow these process steps (the order of the steps may vary)

1. Application received at IRCC
   
2. IRCC start processing application
3. Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR 1)
4. Link Application to Online Account
5. Upload Schedule A form
6. Sponsor Approval and File transfer to VO
7. VO starts processing PR application (AOR 2)
8. Receive Request for Medical Exam
9. Medical Exam @ IRCC Panel Physician Clinic
10. Medical Exam Result
11. Passport Request (PPR)
12. Pick-up Permanent Residency Visa (PUM)

Spousal sponsorship process completion time varies depending on the Visa Office and on a case basis.......will advice you assume process completion takes 12months to help reduce the waiting stress.......relax.....its a wait game.

Hello Wakki. Thank for your reply and your advices. My wife got the email saying the the VO started processing PR application on August 3. Do you know how long from that it takes to receive the request for medical test? Thank you one more time...

depends on the visa office......medical request usually within 1 to 5 months.

Ah ok..thank you very much for your answer. My VO is in Havana..Hope to get the medical request soon...it is really stressful this waiting when I do not see my wife for more than 4 months..Have a good day Wakki...
