No updates.. applied for study permit on 12 july, 6th week started..

I applied for Canada study permit on 12 july 2016 from United States, I have not received any updates after that, 6th week has started, Whereas processing time mentions 4 weeks.
My classes start from 6th September.
anyone else facing the same issue.
Any reply is much appreciated.

It's same story in Ind.. I applied on 14 July and there are no update till now

Me too. I applied on July 4th. No update yet. My classes start on Sept 6 as well.

I emailed the consulate, sent them a physical mail, called the VFS office, went to the office in person. No one is giving me any information, no updates.

Is there any other way to find out?

I need some kind of update on the application.

I need some kind of update on the application.

I have started receiving blank emails from CIC regarding updates in my account, but there were no actual updates in the account when I logged in.
As per responses on this forum, it means that the application is being processed. But currently, There are no more updates.
If anyone has an idea, when will they send the passport request, please do reply.
