My company refused to add salary to the experience letter and only provided salary slips of the last year out of 4 years I worked there. Is the salary slips of last year enough?
What else can I submit as a proof of salary?
I have tax form (form 16) from the company that indicates my salary, can I submit that?

Check this...your experience letter have to include salary details...

As per the company policy, salary cant be disclosed on reference letter. I believe completeness check in the link you shared would require some acceptable alternate proof that I was paid during the job if its not included in the reference letter. This link doesnt mention any alternate acceptable documents and states the same requirements listed on express entry document checklist. Please suggest any other proofs I can submit.
So far my plan is to submit a combined pdf containing a letter of explanation stating the issue and what alternates I provided, reference letter, offer letter, promotion letters, and salary slips of last year.

All good with if there is no way...
I don't know why this policy...haven't heard or seen a reference letter with salary details...

Hi,

Unfortunately, I am in the same situation you were in almost a year ago and I am also planning to attach the pay stubs and Form 16. Could you please tell me if IRCC accepted that in your case? It would be a big help if you could share your experience.

Thank you!

I'm assuming this is for your PR application ?

I might be able to help, but keep in mind my PR application (successful) was 9 years ago, so documentation requirements/'what's acceptable to ircc' may have changed now.

I encountered a similar situation with an employer where they would only give me two separate letters (stupid company policies) :
  • First one had all the job roles & responsibilities, positions/designations held, dates (form & to) etc.
  • Second one had employer info, salary details, employment dates/location etc. along with the HR Department's contact info
I combined both letters in a single PDF file for my 'proof of experience' document and uploaded it along with a 'letter of Explanation' (stating this was company HR policy and hence the two separate letters in the pdf). Additionally, I noticed I also added recent pay stubs at the end of the 'proof of experience' pdf (not sure what the official ircc requirements/instructions are in 2025)

Not sure what 'Form 16' is, so can't comment on that.
