No Response to FSW application. Confirmed receipt 16th,Oct

• Hi,
  I'd received confirmation from my courier that the package was received by CIO-Sydney(CAN) on Oct 16. I've not heard anything from them yet and the Canadian Immigration says the cap limit has been reached.
  One of the threads listed this website - http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet. To show which applications are being processed now. There are a list of nick names in there and I dont see my name. (Not sure if this site is genuine though).
  
  Could someone advice if that link is genuine (because it has received app. till Dec)
  Would writing to CIC help with whether they will be returning my application?

Appreciate anyone's advice on this.

The spreadsheet is unofficial & is just for reference. We have to update our details manually in the spreadsheet. As per my knowledge you can mark an email to CIC regarding the status of your application and they'll revert to you in 4-6 weeks. If your application is returned then you'll receive it back in about a month. If its accepted then you'll hear from them in Jan 2015.

As for the application if the cap has reached, for the skill - 2171 (1000 applications) - then am I to understand that the application would revert to me? Since its been more than a month since delivery of the application.
Just wondering what hope would there be if the cap has reached and I havent heard from them.

You're welcome. Frankly speaking I don't remember the date of capping 2171 but I've heard that even some Sept applications are being returned due to capping. Unfortunately it seems that you'll get your app back. If you can apply in another NOC then go ahead ASAP. If they are returning your app then you should also receive an email stating the same.
