we r pakistani my husband wid two kid under 2 year have applied our application on 18th jan under fastrack bt no responce
we sent our applictaion thru suadi post
yet no reduction frm our account

You mean a you have sent your initial application to Nova Scotia, right? When did you sent your documents? And when were they delivered?
Kindly notice that even some applicants whose initial application documents have been sent to Canada have not yet heard any reply.

It will take 60 to 70 days to get initial response which u name AOR (aknowledgement receipt). So wait little longer.

Canada1234 is correct. Nov applicants are getting their AOR (Acknowlegment) now, so you have to wait for about two months

If you have sent you application to Sydney, NS then it will take around 60 days to get a response from them.

Lol. People who sent in Early November 2009 are getting their AOR now from CIO. January 2010 guys will not get theirs until March 2010. ITs too early to ask for the AOR.

i also am not getting any response from my chc after i sent all documents in July 2009 (after the 120 days letter). is anything wrong? Seniors please advice what to do?

WE applied at the end of Sept and got ours on the 21st Jan, so you may have a little wait yet, I think it is anywhere between 50 - 70 days, we had a problem with our card which is why it took so long and got an email from CIO to submit alternate payment, so then had to send draft which was fine and got AOR a day after the draft arrived, if you know it got there ok then its just a waiting game I'm afraid gd luck xx

Keep this in mind that ordinary canada post is so slow, it take more than 20 days to deliver an international post(customs clearance takes very long time) i think ur post has just been delivered or about to be deliverd to NS. trak ur mail on canadapost site first! then the process of 60- 70 days starts.wait wait wait. AS PATIENCE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME! good luck
