I applied for dependent VISA (Visitor for me, and Student permit for my kids 6 yrs old), my husband being on WP in Canada, on Oct 7. Nothing changed in my status, but for my sun its shows medical pass. Why has it not changed for me as done medical on the same day?

May be because both Study Permit and Visitor visa have different processing times. You can check them here;
