Hello everyone
I was processing my pr application express entry under cec. As i moved forward and received document checklist I saw there’s no field to upload PCC. I came here on August 2016 and turned 18 two months after coming here. Also i went back home for two months after 6 months of staying in canada. Im assuming this is the reason that there’s no checklist for pcc? Or should i call CIC. Please help......

I'm in a near identical situation. Posting here in case somebody has an answer. Cheers

I have the same situation, no PCC from my home country. I will submit it along with other docs on the client info.

PCC Could appear post medicals after submission. For some applicants IRCC will ask it for others not. It is most depending on all the detailed travel history you write in the personal history section

Im assuming flight layovers need not be mentioned in travel history?

PCC is only needed if you stay in any country for more than 6 months after the applicant turns 18 years or more. I guess @Oindrila in your case, you don't need PCC from INDIA as you did not live there for more than 6 months.

That might be the reason, there is no PCC upload section for you.

For Canada PCC, IRCC asks if they need one.

Hope this helps

God I really hope it doesn’t show up after I’m done with everything

Once you start filling e-APR data, based on the data, the upload section will adjust on its own.

for example, if you added 3 work history entries and move ahead, you will see 3 rows for uploading. If you come back and remove one from your work history, The upload will show 2.

So it matters what you are entering in the Travel history which determines whether you need PCC or not.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm done with all my e-APR data. And from what I can gather it only asks you for a PCC in case you spent over 6 months in a country other than Canada. My only trips outside of canada have been to India that total upto 5 months and some 20 odd days. I take it that is why I'm not getting prompted for these documents. Btw thanks everyone for all the helpful responses!

I’m in a similar situation, did IRCC end up requesting a PCC for your application?
