No OPEN WORK PERMIT yet!

Hi!

This is my 11th month since I submitted my application for an OPEN WORK PERMIT/PR. Next month is the expiration of my WP, Healthcard & SIN. What will happen to my status if I can't have it next month? Do I have to apply for an extension? I can't call the CIC...Pls help me!

Get a temporary resident visa to wait until you get your open work permit. Hopefully you're living with someone who can support you while you wait?
