In Process with RVBO is not the real Process as it states just that your application has been received by the visa office but it hasn't been put to the officer's desk yet.
They can send a DM after they have started processing it but if this DM is sent before Medical request then it results that they have rejected your application.

For more detailed Info you have to ask the seniors.

Good Luck.

Hi:
Thank you.

your answer is very logical. So , the conclusion I can say is:

People who have their ecases with ( in process with a date) and got a DM.......are in danger of rejection.

People who have their ecases with ( in process without a date) and got a DM.........They have a glitch in the system.

Any opinions????? please

My honest opinion is to just wait a couple of weeks and find the truth whether the DM is a glitch or not. If you don't hear from them in a couple of weeks send a inquiry to the VO. Everything else is simply speculation.

1. There's nothing as a 'real' [or 'surreal'] in-process... if ur e-CAS states 'in process' - it is under processing.
2. Why not? If they find a case 'ineligible' it maybe refused@any stage [however, there r also noted 'errors' galore].

Hi!

Why don't you send them urgent email and ask for your status? Thanks

99% it'd go un-replied.

Thanks Sir for commenting. But I saw 2 other Pakistani applicants who got decision made recently and sent urgent enquiries and both received urgent response that they are refused and also the reason why they are rejected. Thanks

@Qorax - Actually I would have to disagree to a point. When applications (certainly newer applications) which pass their eligibility review at CIO first get added to ECAS, one can sometimes sees the status as "IN PROCESS", but without the additional line "We reviewed your application and started processing on XYZ" in the detail. Shortly afterwards the status goes to "Received by visa office".

Not until some time afterwards when I think the visa office actually start processing does it go back to "IN PROCESS" with the detail line about the processing date.

So I think sometimes there can be a phantom "IN PROCESS" when an application first appears on ECAS.

Just from personal observation! :)

@Louay - I asked you to give more details when you PM'd me but you haven't replied. Although as I pointed out above, there can sometimes be a phantom IN PROCESS, if you have had "Decision Made" on your application I think the likely circumstance is that your application has been rejected. Very occasionally a Decision Made can be incorrectly displayed in ECAS, but these are a pretty rare and most of the time a Decision Made prior to medicals means rejection.

And you're not dying, please stop exaggerating :) I realise it must be very frustrating but have you seen if you are eligible under the current new rules? If not, perhaps a change of occupation list in July this year might give you a way to reapply? Failing that, you can still apply as a Federal Skilled Worker if you can secure a job offer with an LMO, or even look into provincial nomination and see which provinces require skills which you have, if your skills are not on the Federal list.
