I am from Philippines...Me an my brother submitted our application to CIC, Provincial Nominee Program, Centralized Inake Office 47-49 Dorchester Street, Sydney, Novo Scotia, B1P5Z2. Our payment was through manager's cheque. We sent our application through fedex courier and was received by one of their representative. It has been 8 moths since then and we have not received any notification since then...I then emailed 2 weeks ago to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca.......no reply yet from them...We are worried because the managers cheque is already expired if they havent open our application..Is there any one here in this forum experiencing the same problem with ours?thank you

Hi...CIO replied again..they said..they already returned my application last june 21 2012 due to payment issue..so sad, when i confirmed from the postal office here in the phil..they cannot track our package since canada malied it via ordinary mail...not a registered mail...so it got lost..i emailed them back...if we will start again from the very beginning.which is applying again from MPNP..because our mpnp approval letter is already expired last sept 2012.because if that would be the case..i just wanna give up canada for good..seems like everythings difficult for us..i gave up my work..thinking everything will be smooth sailing. God help us.thanks sir ronald

Don't give up, it happened before. Call MPNP and tell them what happened and ask for an extension

You can ask for extension witn in 6 months of your expiration. At least this applies for AINP. I'm not sure about MPNP. May be same thing. Inquire and email MPNP ASAP. Good luck.

Sir Ronald..thank you for you reply.CIO has cleared that they mail our application back immediately due to payment issues..The problem is here in the Philippine postal service..There are lots of people here complaining mails or packages not received.Postal service here is so incompetent and the lousiest office ever..They say ordinary mails which do not have registry number they dont keep a record of it..because thats the policy .Anyway, I will contact MPNP now and request for an extension.Hope they will reconsider..Hope next time CIO will mail us via registered mail..cause it will be same story again :) God speed.thank you
