Yes called them multiple times last year, got my GCMS notes in November and Sent them an email as well. The call and the email were always came up empty. They said it is in processing and they do not require anything from me. As for the notes, the last time it was updated was in the end of June last year. security check seemed to be or was almost complete. as for the rest, nothing was started. not even eligible. Last location of my file in the Ottawa office seemed to be something called QC inventory.

The inventory is like a storage room. I would suggest that you reach out to your MP. Also request another set of notes. Sometimes this wakes up the visa officer and your file will be pulled out the inventory and made active again. Best of luck.

Mate, I advise you the following! go to the neasrest physcian paenl. do upfront medicals. get the proof and mail it to CIC (the same way you inform them about changing an address). Problem solved!

BTW fyi I did inquire from the CIC if one can apply under express entry while they are already being processed under QSW. I was told that we are allowed to do so. We do NOT need to withdraw qsw application. However, they did keep emphasizing that once if accepted as a permanent resident through express entry, we have to move out of Quebec. Which I would happily oblige with. I asked them through their official CIC page on facebook chat.

So I am considering keeping both applications if it comes to that.
