No job in Canada yet...How to apply for Parents visitor visa?

Hi Everybody,
I recently moved to Canada with my wife..3 weeks ago from USA..on PR visa.
My wife is pregnant and we are expecting a baby in December. I want to apply for visitor visa for my parents (they are in India) for 3 months(not the super visa). I don't have a job in Canada yet...is it compulsory to show that i am employed to send my parents for visa interview.
Any inputs would be appreciated.

No - it is not compulsory that you show that you are employed if your parents are applying for a regular visit visa. They can go ahead and apply.
