No final decision and passport request letter after receiving Correspondence letter on May 12th

Hi All,

I applied for the TRV from inside Canada on April 24th 2025, after receiving the extended closed WP. I received the correspondence letter with the latest update message as “
Latest update:
Final decision - May 12, 2025:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.”
Usually I have seen that people receive the Final decision or the Passport request letter for Visa stamping 2 days after this. But as of June 11th I still haven’t received the passport request letter. I raised a Web Form and received a generic response saying application under review on May 28th. Has anyone else faced this issue as well, if so please advise on when I can expect the Passport request letter or what I can do further to expedite this.

May 11, 2025 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. Everything is completed on ircc tracker and work permit details visable but no ppr / final decesion letter yet raised 2 webform also but no update yet.

In the same boat, my PR application seem stuck since last received the FD update on March 26, no further communication from IRCC, no PPR. I stopped counting the days since it clocked 80days waiting for PPR. Completely frustrated and exhausted.

I got my PPR today, below is the timeline
Applied on 24th April 2025
Correspondence letter on 12th May 2025
PPR on 19th June 2025

Wow, this is some great piece of news. Congratulations. Have IRCC suddenly woken up? Hopefully, this marks the beginning of the floodgates of PPR for the rest of us. Cheers.
