No file number and Acknowledgement of Reciept

File number and Acknowledgement of Reciept--- are these two different things?

My file as they informed it is queue, but no file has been provided yet!!!!!!!!!!!

Experienced people, kindly let me know about this

Hey when did you apply? because I applied in august and I was be able to see something in CIC page in November when they sent me a letter with the Unique Client Identifier....after that my info was in CIC page..
