No Express Entry points if children are Permanent Residents?

Hello,
I am currently employed with an IT firm in my country. I have two children who are Permanent Residents in Canada. I was going through CRS point calculation - are there no points given in express entry if your children are in Canada?

I have read about Grandparents Immigration process - but would like to apply PR on my own.

2) Also, for my education - I had graduated it in 1984, can I submit my marksheet attested by a Gazetted officer or will I have to get sealed Official transcript from my University.

2. WES accepts only sealed transcript from the university.
