Hi,

I am in IT and I completed my 1 year in Canada working for my company. Now that I have to file for my PR under CEC asap, my Employer is not giving me the reference letter that describes my 1 year work-ex and roles and responsibilities with them. It says its not as per company policy.
I do have my T4 and my 12 pay stubs with me. Is there any workaround if I dont get the Employer reference letter? Please help me urgently as time is running out for me to file PR under category 2283.

Thanks,
Chocotruffle

if u read check list carefully it says big OR ...so try to arrange second option..pay stubs, job letter, employment letter (which u can get), job contract if any and explain it thats it not company policy..if u can get it in written or email much better

You must provide proof of qualifying work experience, including:

a copy of your most recent authorization to work in Canada (i.e. work permit or visitor record)

employer reference letters for all periods of qualifying work experience you identify in your application

copies of your T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment (NOA) issued by the Canada Revenue
Agency for the period(s) of work experience you identify in your application
(CIC preferred)
,
OR

a sufficient combination of other supporting documentation, which could include copies of a record or letter of
employment from the employer in Canada, work contracts and pay stubs for the period(s) of work experience you
identify in your application.

i would just attach all paystubs while you worked and have a supervisor or direct manager right a letter saying you're hired from xx-xx-xxxx day as a full time and include job duties. you can attach T4 and NOA when you get AOR.
