Hi,
I recently moved from Ontario to st.johns
I am doing a job as pharmacy assistant and I recently got a pgwp in March 2026
I done environmental technician diploma in Ontario and done 2 month online course of pharmacy assistant ( Excel college from Vancouver )
I want to apply for PR but I don’t know if I can be eligible for any pathway
Because my pharmacy is not eligible for AIP and I am not eligible for NLPNP express since I don’t think I have 67 points even after 1 year and NLPNP non express require job related to program for outsiders
So I am stucked here…

So you moved for a job.

Well to apply for PR you need to be invited so what is your CRS score? If not high enough for CEC draws then learn French.

As 12th pass and diploma holder my highest CRS score with ielts can be 430 around
Is there any other way than learning French
Like finding my field job in this province or any other
Or after 1 year pharmacy here then moving to Nova Scotia or NB like province if they don’t require job related to program for PNP file.

For EE, French is the option. NS and NB require job offers with eligible employers. You didn't study in those provinces so at a disadvantage too. You need work experience in those provinces with employee support. Research their programs.

Did you get a study for the pharmacy assistant program? Were you studying at both programs at the same time? Did you declare your phamacy assistant diploma when you applied for PGWP? How long is your PGWP? If there a reason you moved to NL? A huge number of temporary residents became PSWs and then pharmacy assistants so is not longer an easy pathway to PR.
