Nikkah or Marriage is there any difference for Spouse PR!!!

I am from Pakistan and doing Nikah with Canadian citizen, I am wondering does it effect for PR application whether your are getting married or only doing Nikah, how it will effect on your immigration file?

For spousal application, you have to provide a Marriage Certificate if you state in the application that you are married with your sponsor (Canadian Citizen). Does doing the Nikah provide you with a Marriage Certificate? If not, then it could be an issue. Also, the immigration officer would want to see that a ceremony was performed and that guest were present at the ceremony as you have to include pictures of the ceremony.
