Nigerian Letter of Experience for Driving License in BC

Does anyone know how/where a Nigerian (from Lagos) who is now in Canada can obtain a letter of experience that shows how long the person has been driving legally as a Nigerian?? This is needed to get their BC License as their current Nigerian License was reissued when it was lost and now shows a date that is not long enough. Help!!

I'm very curious about this lisence transfer as well. My husband will be here soon and I really hope he doesn't have to go through the driving tests and levels.

Two ideas: do you have any older (expired Drivers Licences?) Also, some Embassies are willing to provide letters. Otherwise, it's a matter of contacting the Ministry of Transportation of your home country (which, I know can be a pain!)
