Hi I just got married few months back, I live in USA and my spouse is still In India and has no plans of coming here. I want to apply to canada Pr before leaving USA. Can I do that ?

If I do our visa office will be some where in USA and I need to provide proof of stay in USA for both of us for at least 1 year. I don't have any documents like that for my spouse. What is it that I can do ? Is it best for me to go back to India and apply for pr ?

Dear Mate

Consult immigration lawyer in US , do not waste your time

Stay Blessed

It's not necessary for your wife to be in same country.
While submitting documents, addresses for both of you can be different.

However transferring visa offices is a big headache. Immigration attorneys also charge additional fees.
If you're planning on going back to India soon, I would recommend waiting until you land there.
Plus arranging for documentation for both while in different countries is going to be a time consuming and costly affair.

Not trying to scare you away, just from my experience.
