Dear Friends,

I am planning to move to newfoundland. I know that the rentals are very low. But I want to know job opportunities (is if hard to find of what) and cash jobs availability at Newfoundland.

Regards,
Isuri.

It's generally easier to find jobs in the summer when there is tourism.

You should expect it to be more difficult to find jobs in the late fall, winter, and early spring when the tourism industry slows down and some businesses close for the season. The fishing industry is also closed during this time which is another source for jobs. Basically the job market slows way down there over the winter and there are a lot of jobs that are seasonal.

Rentals are very low but there are also fewer job opportunities (which is one of the reasons why rentals are so low).
