Do newborn babies require photo for the biometrics appointment? At what age dependents should take passport size photos to the appointment?

There is no requirement for children under 14 to do biometrics.

It is a pre-written letter. When you go there, they will not do biometrics for under 14. Take a passport size photo just in case.

Asylum claimants aged 14 or older are required to provide biometrics (no upper age limit). In all other cases, applicants younger than 14 years or older than 79 years are exempt from providing biometric information.

Update, they didn't require anything for babies.
