Newbie spousal question re: police clearance

Hi there,

New to this forum. Looking to file spousal sponsorship for my husband who is of Greek decent. I'm looking online at the requirement and am confused about the police form. Does the person I'm sponsoring (husband) only need to get police clearance. Or does his entire family. Im not sure if I misunderstood.

Only the person / people you are actually sponsoring for permanent residence.

That's what I thought but those forms can be confusing.
