For GC Key, I can't quite remember, but it changed about a day or two after it was transferred to the Accra Office. On the new tracker it changed to in progress on September 1 the day I submitted the ADR.
Background verification didn't even go to "In progress" status on the tracker. But everything changed to completed after I got PPR.
I suggest you raise a webform again and send an email to Accra letting them know your application is almost a year and you need to make plans for the holiday with your spouse, and that the uncertainty is impeding on those plans.

Got denied 2 TRV's this year.
I sent a webform 2 weeks ago, attached letter from MP.
I also sent an email today.
maybe will send another webform at end of the month to see if it helps, am loosing my shit over this contstantly.
Totally understand the frustration. IRCC lacks a lot of coordination and consistency. I got denied twice as well on TRV, and nothing came out of the third one after almost 6 months of waiting, it still pending. You just need to keep applying pressure as much as you can, as you currently are. Just keep raising forms and sending emails and keep the hope alive. It'll happen soon.

File is at VO Accra. Below is the reply they gave to MP following a call to the VO
"
I was able to contact IRCC this morning and ask for an update on your wife’s application.
Agent was able to tell me:
Criminality verifications have passed.
Medical has passed.
Security verifications have not started yet.
Agent also advised me that the processing time is 22 months. Our office can inquire about your application once it has exceeded the proposed timeline.
Check processing times - Canada.ca
Please reach out to our office if your application exceeds the timeline and we would be happy to contact IRCC on your behalf."

Application date: Feb 15
AOR: Apr 28
Biometrics Completed: July 19
Medicals completed: July 27
Since then: Tracker shows updates that are not visible

I think IRCC just give canned responses to these MP offices. It's like they just look to what you have online, what is also available to you and provide that to your MP.
We had a similar response with ours and were also told security verifications have not been initiated, 3 days later we got PPR and then afterwards everything just changed to completed on the online tracker.
Your application process is going well. You will receive your PR in due time.
They’ve been working but are very slow to update. Got an update today and info was on my eligibility and pre-arrival which I got since Nov 5. Before then, my last ghost update was Nov 4.
