hi.. need help..

iam a new tfw in alberta but i would like to transfer to BC,,. i already have a new employer and is already processing my lmo so that i can apply for a new work permit.. do u guys think i will have a problem applying for a new lmo?? been working in alberta for 1 month only..

The LMO is related to the employer and the position, not to you. Once the new employer has an LMO, provided you have the qualifications for the job it shouldn't be an issue - but you cannot start working for the new employer until you have that new work permit. You can keep working for the old employer until the new work permit comes in.

You can also quit and move to BC if you'd like, but you won't qualify for EI and of course there's no guarantee your new prospective employer will be successful in obtaining an LMO.

I'd suggest waiting until at least the LMO has been issued - then you can take 2 months off if you like while you wait for Vegreville to issue your work permit.
