So for those who have landed and previously held a SIN number starting with "9" - I'm wondering how do you approach the change? who needs to be notified?

- Employer
- Credit agency (Update them through Mail) -> Both TransUnion and Equifax
- CRA

I guess all the banks and credit card company does not have to be notified as all information will flow through credit agency. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Employer and bank should be notified. Service Canada will provide the information to CRA. I'm not comfortable giving out my SIN so I did not update the credit agency. I figure they can use my name and date of birth to identify me.
