My friend, you dont read posts, do you?

My post was clearly about CEC and you are talking about FSW. Since you are talking about FSW, let me remind you about the time when the govt cancelled pre-2008 backlog cases....WITHOUT ANY WARNING. So, your premise that they would not change the rule is extremely flawed.

I am not encouraging or discouraging anything.....all, i am saying is that if its possible for people to come here after getting your PR (if citizenship is important to you), then that is what you should do and not waste your time, money and energy coming here as a student. They keep changing rules very frequently and as a student, now, you could have spent 7-8 years (theoretically) here and would still not be considered eligible for citizenship - as the govt thinks that you have no love for Canada but, a PR could become eligible after 3 years.

My question is how can anyone claim that a person that has spent so many years has no love for this country when compared to a person that came here 3 yrs ago? THAT, my friend, is discriminatory.
