Hello guys
Landed on 9-9 and trying to access my PR status since that time but system is unable to find my status.
Is that normal ?
Secondly; if my wife and kid live there and got my citizinship while I am living in ny home country and four years passed out of five.Is there a chance to renew my PR as my wife and kid are citizen at that time ?
Thanks in advance !

Meeting PR residency obligation is an individual responsibility not influenced by fact your family may become citizens in the meantime.

So if you stay in your home country for 4 years and return at that time you stand the chance of being reported for failing to meet residency obligation leading to PR status being revoked. This may or may not happen but of course if you stay in Canada for 2 years from then without leaving everything gets reset. PR cards expire by the way and need to be renewed, PR never expires and can only be renounced or revoked by the government so you do not really need to renew your PR card once in the country unless planning to leave the country again. Doing so anyway if having not met RO can just make things complicated until you have reset RO.
