Hi
I consulted CIC sites but can't see the answers am looking for, i am in canada( British Colombia) for nearly 6 months under a working permit which expires in 2 years..I wanted to know is it possible to apply for a PR card?,when can I apply for the PR card? Should I stay more longer in Canada ? Or 6 months is enough to be eligible TO Apply for the PR?and what are the stuff needed like documents etc? Because on the application PR form'''' they do not mention exactly what are documents needed for a new PR applicant.

Thanks 'hope to hear from you soon,

If someone can help & advice me what to do and the way it works?

You don't qualify to apply for an actual PR card. What you need to apply for is permanent residency first.

As a first step, you'll need to see if and when you qualify to apply for permanent residency. The various immigration programs are in the link below:

I would recommend you take a look at the BC PNP program and also the Canadian Experience Class program. Without knowing what kind of job you have, it's difficult to say when / if you may qualify to apply for permanent residency.

Hey thanks for the reply and the link you shared, infact am working for an construction company(metal sheet worker),in my passport in the category side its written W-1 WORKER'
Immigrant consultants cost money, that's why I need some free help & advice ;)

Start by reading in detail about the BC PNP immigration program to see if you might qualify under this stream. If you have any questions about the program, post them to the Provincial Nominee section of this forum.
