New photos requested but cannot track the mail now.

Hello,

My wife and I got our PR cards approved but I received a photo request from CIC for my 1 year son. We did our soft landing back in August and just got the letter from CIC for my son last week. I sent his latest photos to my friends address in Toronto and she mailed them to the PR Card Processing centre PO Box in Nova Scotia via Canada Post Priority mail on Oct 24. As of Oct 25 the tracking number still does not show up in the system.

I want to know if any of you experienced anything similar? Do Priority mails get sent to CIC PO Box numbers or any possibility my mail is just sitting in the Canada Post post office?

If you send photos by courier you should not use PO Box. For courier it has different address, where the person can sign conformation of delivery.
My husband landed in June, 2018. No initial PR card. Only now they have requested for new photos. And I sent it to actual address ( it should be in your letter or email) from CIC.

Hello, I couriered them to my friend in Canada and she mailed it to the PO Box. The photos show delivered. The reason I believe the tracking number showed up late online was due to the postal strike that was going on in different parts of the country back then.
