Hey guys I have a small question. My Pr application is in process since July 23 - my PGWP is expiring on February 15. Now the thing is I was obviously hoping for it to be done by then but since I guess I am still waiting, I should apply for the BOWP which I was going to do anyway. But that new policy applications only open on Jan 27th - as per Canada website, so my question is do I need to wait till then to apply to be taking advantage of the 18 months extension, or can I apply say tomorrow and they will still approve for 18 months? What do you guys think?

Please advise ! Any response is appreciated

You need to wait until the 27th when they start accepting applications.

My doubt is same. My PR is in progress since June 2020 and PGWP expiring on Feb 2021. Should I apply for BWOP or new 18 months PGWP extension.

Please give some insights

Of course new 18 months extension. BOWP I think only gives 1 year. Why not take the 6 months extra if ur getting it ?

Doesn't really matter at this point if you apply for BOWP or the new 18 month extension for PGWP holders. Applicants with June AOR are starting to receive COPR, you will likely be receiving yours soon.
