Hello i hope you’re all well . While filling forms for a new passport application. There request details of jobs from the past 2 years however i was unemployed. Does it affect my eligibility to receive passport please

My guess is it shouldn't. Someone who has money but doesn't have a job shouldn't travel across the border or to other countries?

No, it won't affect your application at all.

People are out of work for a whole variety of reasons. That has nothing to do with your passport eligibility.
