New Passport reached CHC, New Delhi - How much longer ??

Hi Everybody

As most of you know, my passport was returned coz of lamination peel off. I applied for a new passport through TATKAAL, got the passport and gave it to my consultant who forwarded it to CHC. Today I called my consultant and asked about the details of the despatch. They said it was sent on March 11, 2010, and received at CHC, New Delhi on March 13, 2010.

My question is, how much longer do I need to wait to get the Visa stamped. Anybody who had to face a similar situation, please drop in your suggestions. Thanks to everybody.

hi,

The maximum time would be 2 weeks to be returned back if ur based in delhi. It can be sooner also.

I have not faced this kind of situation but as per my understanding as mentioned earlier maximum a week. Your file is approved they will just update the passport number and stamp the new one.

velly nothin new mann...hopefully ur visa on ur way..before me..coz im in queue..so if ur visa stamped dis week may be min eon next week

i applied under noc3112 and send full docs. to chc nd on 17.02.10 and got 2nd aor on 23.02.10 & status is Received by vo.
As i studied abroad for 7 yrs and married to a foreigner and i have a baby who is not indian citizen.i too have green card of that country.my wife & child has multiple enty visa of india and are in india.Now the ? is how this situation will effect on PRof Canada.......will it take long time.....i am worried.......pls help........

If you have disclosed the information honestly and correctly as asked in the forms then it will not affect the PR immigration.

i have sincerely disclose all the information.the thing is will it take more time for my case to process? i am waiting eagerly for my medicals.will they prolong all background checks?

Some times when the case is complex like, you have 3 -4 companies work exp, etc etc and verification may take time so it can cause delay. But trust me they have optimized system under fast track and BC also have deadline and BF'D which is brought forward date so by that time the BC have to be completed. Do not worry, if you information is correct then medicals will be on there way soon.

also i want to ask you that i have lipoma [ a benign tumor]near my right elbow.i wanted to remove it just for cosmetic point of view.is it fine to go for surgery at this stage as i am waitig for medicals?ow it will effect on my medical result if i will not remove it?

Do not go for surgery right now. Get your medicals done. If the doctor asks then tell me honestly about it. Very few chances he might ask for additional test but I don't think that it should be a problem. After the medicals get the treatment done.
