New Open Work Permit Application - When will we get a status update

I have applied for my open work permit 10 weeks back through https://www.canada.ca/en.html and I got my payment receipt. I am in Canada right now as a visitor. When I checked the processing times, the average processing time is shown as 7 weeks. Please respond if any body faced this issue or if you know any way to do a follow up.
