New list of demand occupations might come shortly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi,

today i have checked CIC site and it says until April 16th they will do consultations and after which we might here new lsit comming out like in November 2008.

So guys watch out and those applying apply quickly.

We will see changes in few months from now............

I think this how it works .They might add extra professions along with these and perhaps the present ones
will not be removed and they will continue to stay .But we may get some more new ones.

This is how i think and this may not be true.They will think about next 5 years which occupations might have demand.

I remember,few days ago, somebody at the forum saying that new list is coming and they will be getting rid of 0213 from the list.At that point of time we didn't believe and asked him not to spread any rumors.However,he was right .I hope NOC 0213 doesn't get affected along with other NOC's as many people are applying especially lot people with 0213.

please refer www.cic.gc.ca and you can clarify everything . At this point of time we can not guess anything but all i know is they are making some background work before they come up with new list.

I cant make any predictions about 0213 being there are not . ;D

Those who already applied need not panic everything will be ok as their applications are in process.

My message is to those people who are thinking to apply .Please apply quickly as things might change 3-4 months from now or even before that.

Hi shezad,

Please dont panic just calculate how many points you are getting now . I mean to say what bands you need to reach inorder to pass 67 . Suppose if u have to get 7.5,6.5,6.5,6.5 something like that then better take the exam ,know how much you are getting and submit application.

Case 2 : I you have to get anywhere like 10 to 8 points then submit before you take IELTS because i dont think u should have problem getting 6 .It all depends on how strong you are in english.

So my friend make a right guess and if u think you can get enough points then carryon.Else wait until ur exam date and then wait until u get final score and then submit the application.

Hi there,

Today I have also contacted one consultant in Delhi. My occupation does not come in 38 list. So, they have told me to wait and call them after 4th April because it is presumed that the list is going to be revised/reviewed shortly. Perhaps, some more occupations may be added to the list since economy is coming back on track day by day all over the world. Canada is already under-populated country and they need professionals in almost every field. Employers are feeling the crunch of qualified staff to carry on their business. On the pressure coming from the employers in Canada CIC may review the list shortly.

May be it will take more time as it has been given in the link that consultations will be till april 16th 2010.
After which we may get the list.

Is it? Do you mean once CIO receive the application today, the existing rule apply through out?
Or is it the date of full application to visa office that matters?
