Thanks jes_ON. So far, I haven't seen any changes - even the current processing times haven't been updated....They still say that they are not yet available yet they were released last month on their website!

What I meant by that is that they didnt have them in application guide before

Hi All,

I see a significant change. Before, any foreign stduent who managed to stay in Canada for 12 months could have applied for CEC. But now, one has to gain Canadian experience of 12 months after graduation AND within 24 months of application!

I don't agree with your first sentence. You could be confusing it with the FSW category. For the graduate stream, the CEC has always needed 12 months of work experience following graduation from a Canadian post-sec institution!

Thanks Essat. In fact, I came back to delete my post and then saw your post. Yes, I re-checked with the CIC website and found out that I had confused the international student sections of respectively CEC and FSW.

I have removed my previous message just now. In fact, I am so happy to have found out that I was wrong!
