I am planning to immigrate to canada in couple of months. I got my application approved and the visa is stamped in my passport. My question is when I am landing what are the documents needed. When I wil get my PR card.
You should have your passport and the original CPR with you. If you have any goods to declare the B4 forms ( both you are taking with you and also goods to follow). More details about this forms are available in many discussion posts made by other members in this forum.
Usually the visa office send the instruction sheet together with the CPR and the passport after stamping visa which guides the applicant in detail about the landing procedure.
After landing you should get PR card within 4 to 6 weeks time.

I wish to know whether the PR card is issued at the landing border or you will get it through mail. What documents you will get when you land in Canada. If I need to travel back to some other countries what is the process

1. If you provide a Canadian address at "landing" you will receive the PR Card in the mail in about 30 days.
2. You should apply at a Service Canada office for a SIN card.
3. Most provinces you will not be eligible for a Medical Card, there is usually a 3 month waiting period.
