Need your advise:
A friend of mine landed in Canada on 20th July 2013 and settled in Ontario; got house, G license, kids to school etc. Her whole family (husband & 3 kids) got their PR cards after 8 weeks except my friend's PR card. When contacted CIC, no clear answer was given but said 'you will get your PR card in 90 days!' Probably, the PR card of my friend was not produced in CIC due to some error. So the family is waiting for wife's PR card.
Meanwhile, my friend has to go back to Dubai on 19th Nov 2013, as part of disposing stuff (home, cars etc.) there to complete the immigration process. She would be returning back by 5th Jan 2014 (some 45 days stay out of Canada) my question is that:
1. Could my friend get Travel Document easily, as residency obligation (730 days in 5 yrs) is not applicable on to her; just became PR in less than 5 yrs?
