New FSW - NOC 2132

I am still awaiting my bank certification letter to arrive, probably in 2 weeks. However, several people informed me that unless I am able to send my application within the first 2 or 3 days (i.e. no later than 4 May), there is no point of applying as I am not going to make it within the NOC 2132 quota. Better to wait until the new system next year. What does every one think about this? I applied as NOC 2132 last year and did not make it either, the new quota on 1 May announcement came at my surprise and I need new bank statement which will take another 2 weeks. Any suggestions?

Keep the hope brother, we should be able to make it into the 1000 quota during the first month

1000 caps for 1 occupation. How many you think are ready with their documents to send within 4 days?
relax yourself. 2 weeks are nothing. By the time your documents will be ready you will be good to go. However for safe side, keep your eye on caps update.

Thank you the comments. Well, I guess it is logic to assume everyone who applied last year and did not make the cap will have the full set of documents ready, just like myself. I was not expecting a new quota to announce last week of April and did not plan ahead. I guess many other would have everything ready to submit on 1 May.

You should try, even if it takes 2 weeks to get it, I dont think NOC2132 will be filled in one month... you have nothing to lose, at the end, the processing fee is reimbursed if the CAP is filled...
