immigration is accepting old applications through the end of January. if you have all the forms filled out, medical, PCC and proofs ready to go, then send it in as is. if you are holding off on medical/PCC, then it may be good to check out what the new package is like. those will not be required upfront anymore and will be requested down the road. either way, the processing *shouldn't* be affected with the old package.
