Hoping I can clarify some items on the new forms that I just finished completing - (Family Class Sponsorship - outland). Myself, Irish citizen and common law partner are living in Dublin but looking to return to Canada if Sponsorship approved :-)
I have read through the FAQ on different forums and have been able to use so much of the information listed. I just wanted clarification on the below before I submit as I would hate to have it returned for little mistakes.

IMM008
Q3 - how many family members including you are in this application? - - - I have answer 1, is this correct? (no children etc., just me and my sponsor who is already a Canadian Citizen)
Q11 - Date and place of your last entry to Canada (this is now shaded and won’t let me fill it out - I have only been back for holidays - does this count?

IMM1344
Q9 - Details from previous spouse / common law partner - if this relationship was 17+ years ago do we list the details?

IMM5532
Q1 Employment
Is it frowned upon to leave gaps - I have added extra sheet details gaps and reason why

Q7 Do your close friends know about relationship - they only give 5 lines. I have additional sheet added but just how many people should we list?

Q9 Formal ceremonies or events to recognize or celebrate your relationship. If no, explain?
Again is it frowned upon after a 15 year relationship we did not get married? I have explained that it was a personal choice not to get married, but not sure what details I should include as to why we didn't?

Any help / advice / insight would be great.

Thanks in advance
:-)

3. The correct answer is 1.

11. Only applicable if you are currently IN CANADA.

IMM1344

9. Yes, you must include the details for your previous partner. It doesn't matter how much time has passed.

IMM5532

1. As clearly stated on the form, NO GAPS. Your app will be returned if you have gaps.

7. If they wanted more names, they would have given more spaces. Just list 5.

9. No, it's not frowned upon. Perfectly fine to say it was a personal choice to not marry and you didn't feel the need for a ceremony to celebrate your common-law relationship.
