Hi,

I an my husband have filed our Canadian immigration application from india. Currently we are located in US. We have already submitted our last stage documents and will soon have our passports stamped.
My query is...is it compulsory that we will have to goto New Delhi India for interview and stamping or can we do this from "Indian Consulate" or "CHC office" here in NYC?

Any help is appreciated.

Try contacting the closest Australian embassy. They should be able to guide you.

CDB,

The Indian Consulate has no authority to give you a Canadian Visa. It has to be stamped by the CHC where you have filed your application or by the CHC to where your case has been transferred.
