Completed medicals sent RPRF and passports.

Question:- Since my wife is 8 months preg, so i got her X-ray done using a sheild now all our medicals are completed. However , my question is ,will they stamp the visa and send the passports back or will they hold the visa till delivery ( in that case how will i apply for neborn's passport as original passports of both parents are required)

It's better if you contact them for this info. But i think they conduct seminar in chennai as they do in chandigarh. call them and they will give you all the details.

about CIIP,
I will surely share my experience on this forum,
@ reet, please share your experience, also suggest if we need to take with us any docs for CIIP sessions,
also, I wanted to know if we can ask for any specific dates from CIIP? and is it a full day session or of a few hours?

you don't have to take anything with you except a notepad and a pen. it's better if you can arrange for your food, else they will charge you about 100/- for the same. and it's a full day session from 9.30 to 4.00 in the evening. iindividual counselling is on very next day or day after that. if you are attending in delhi then you can book a seat on any monday as you want. about other places you have to go with the dates provided by them.

actually i dont have much knowledge abt any city. somebody told me that its better to move not in any big metro city.
one more thing i want to know that after how much time we can call our parents temporarily or permanently & what s the procedure for that. should i do any formality right from here?
anybody has any idea?

i am also planning to land in toronto like rocky. i believe in big cities, there will be more oppurtunities meaning more jobs.

you can call them on visitor visa anytime after you land but their pr will take time. however i think in manitoba pr of sponsored family members take only 12 months at a maximum. i could be wrong, but this is the latest i have heard.

Depends but usually once the status changes to In Process then within a week the medicals and PPR comes. But it all depends up on a case.

actually my father's maternal uncle's son is settled in manitoba. he has sponsered his sister and her family last year and they have recd intimation to submit IELTS result. they will visit me in a day or two with the letter and all other docs related to their file. then i will be able update you. however they have told me that he has already sponsered other sister and they recd pr within 10 months! i was surprised to hear that. let's see what happens.
