New Delhi Passport Mailing??

i currently have my PR application through India in process and i have received the letter to submit my passport, letter mentions that it can't be hand delivered and only mailed, but when i went to mail it, Post office people said it can only be send through regular mail with no tracking number. Since the mailing address is a PO BOX number it can't be done through speed post or registered mail.

can someone shed more light on this?

You can send your passport through a courier(blue dart ot fedex), spped post or through registered post. People used to go to the delhi visa office personally with their passports to deliver so that is why now they have added this hand delivered clause. Any form of mail is acceptable. I sent our passports through speed post. No issues

thanks for a quick reply Gursikh, when i look at the letter i received from canadian consulate, it had the address 7/8 shanipath but it also had PO BOX 5209, so when i sent my papers i wrote the PO BOX as well and now it went through the regular mail. i think i didnt need to put the PO BOX. i just hope it gets to them.

I do,nt think there should be any problem with it. Its just your peace of mind when you have a tracking number. ND Visa ofiice will not give you any confirmation about the passports.
