I appreciate your kind words. However, I didn't mention this but that also happened to myself as well. Fake charges were put onto me as soon as she was caught which is the reason I had to attend a 1 year court date only to know everything was discharged and dropped as myself and my lawyer knew I was the right person. I had a lot of proof which was gathered up which helped me in my case. In the end of the day we are down close to 20K + as well with all the lawyer costs and family law as well. It really is tough in the end.

I know for a fact if this happens - the Principal Applicant that was being sponsored cannot sponsor for 5 years after the date of when they became a PR. It's a 5 year ban for them and a 3 year for us in order to sponsor again. Correct? No matter what the circumstance is.

FULLY AGREE>>>Fraudulent person WAITs for 5 years. He/she would remain so nice up to 5 years. Then as far as fake charges we discussed>>mostly females press charges. Never heard a male was beaten up by a female, may be very rare. I remember a female shot a bullet here in our town at her hubby and YES she was arrested..Think this> if you being a male tell Police that your spouse abused you in anyways ; they will NOT register any case so easily OR quickly or at least you have to press charges thru a Lawyer. A friend was slapped so hard on his face that 4 fingers prints were printed on cheeks, he took a pic and went to Police they listened and advised him its minor dispute , kind of laughed on him but female; if she reports a minor push/slap you will be dragged to jail immediately, all will be done on priority. Since MALE and FEMALES ARE EQUAL,some rules need to be changed big time. Both genders should respect each other. Now on top female is offered a Shelter and all kind of help. But SADLY, if it is the opposite case they don't care where you (a man) goes, sleeps, or eats ! An Ontario man raised this issue in the past why this kind of discrimination! It was all over in the media>> I don't know what happened later. Hence I don't mind if 5 years is changed to 10 years many of my friends agree with me already. This will reduce FAKE marriages or say MOCs We need to do something to stop MOCs so genuine cases DO NOT suffer! 10 years will at least further reduce it if not STOPs it totally. No member need to be upset on above as we are basically talking about FAKERS who take an undue advantage of the system.

JSM there is no Fool Proof method they can use to detect MOCs or illegals entering here. BUT few changes will reduce this thing ,however on the other hand honest/genuine marriage cases will suffer more. Gone R the days when a guy write a half page only 10 lines how he met her fiancee, how they are mad about each other in love. And Bingo a VISA would be issued rt away and fiance had 90 days to marry the boy here in Canada. Why it all so strict is that many ppl MISUSED that system so they introduced mandatory Marriages 1st so no fiance or fiancee could just land here . But MOCs are happening may it be on arrival we find it or after exactly 5 years .
