No. ECAS is checking your application status using the online tool. You need some basic information to check the status such as application ID, Last name, Birth date and place of Birth of the applicant.
Yes got it...I tried it long time ago and thought it's the same as GCKey account...mine says IN PROGRESS

Just wondering if anyone has uploaded information (without being asked) to prove that they have been back to visit their spouse in India after the wedding and application was submitted? Are there any potential issues in doing so? I was thinking that it might help with the eligibility review and possibly prevent the need for an interview.

Ecas is a system to check to updation in ur case status bt as gckey all steps are mentioned in it bt in ecas some steps should be shown. U can dwnld d app if u r using android ph. It is easy to use app as compare to server
