Great! How long did NDVO take to reply? We also sent an inquiry earlier this month but have not heard anything yet. Thanks.
I took about 42 days for them to respond. It was a case-specific enquiry

Once NDVO asks for additional docs, there is a deadline to provide them. If the docs are sent well before the deadline, is the file looked at around the receipt of documents? Or do they wait until the deadline to review the file?

FCU-CBO stands for Canadian Based Officer; Your application is in its final stages! Your close to DM and PPR!

Expect DM and PPR in the next couple of weeks! Previous applicants who saw FCU-CBO in their GCMS Notes had gotten DM and PPR within 2-4 weeks of seeing FCU-CBO! Your Application is in Final Review, CBO = Canadian Based Officer; the one in charge of your file at Mississauga and hence who is making the final decision on your file!

Your BGC should go into process within the next week or so!
According to my GCMS notes, the paper file is in FCU-CBO since 2017/08/11, looking at the trend in the notes i see that they are touching the papers every other month. so i hope they make up their decision by the end of this month and send us PPR.
i am not sure whats holding them back from giving us the good news since my spouse is eligible since August.

Maybe its all the notes they have to generate for your files that they keep touching them for that and putting it to the bottom of the pile again instead of leaving it in the pile at its queued up position in the pile. Just my observation looking at how things are going for some that keep requesting notes over and over, does it really help speed up the process, probably not, mentally you feel better ? Not sure maybe you feel more confused then before.

thanks for ur vivid observation. but i have never before asked for a note. this is the first time.
and i am pretty sure that the case processing office and the note generating office is different.
the case processing office is in NDVO and note processing office is in Canada.
so i am not sure what u r talking about or where u r getting ur information from...

just a note for future, if u don't know about something, plz don't demoralize someone. get the proper information.

It seems the GCMS notes is generated by seperate depart who only work on these notes. They pull notes from file and share with us.. so it might not be the case...

But what you said is also right i do generated notes though i was like happy for eligibility recomended pass but that i know its been a while they even looked at my file make more anxious and angry..

Also some ppl who applied after us might get update early based position of the files in the pile n officers it assigned.. so cant say..
Hope they had better process to update in order...

I am a Canadian PR and I am planning to get married soon. I checked on the cic website which states that it would take 12 months to process visa for wife.I think anything more that 3 months is a very long time to sponsor for wife.
Is there any process by which I can bring her earlier to Canada.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. However, given this is a government process, it may take up to 12 months none-the-less. Once you start your PR process, applying for a visitor visa and getting it approved is not a guarantee. Thus, I recommend you to apply for a Visitor Visa for your wife and ensure she has that approved. Once married, please submit all your documents as per the requirements. This way, you can bring your wife on the bases of a temporary visa and spend precious time together until PR process is completed.
