New Delhi (NDVO) 2017 - Spousal Sponsorship Outside Canada

Discussion in 'Family Class Sponsorship' started by steller, Sep 10, 2017.

  1. HoW do u know that June applications are in process? Is there any update? M asking so coz mostly march and April people are posting abt getting Their PPR.

  2. Status - Background Check has not been started yet.

  3. Hi Guys,

This wait is very annoying, i rang CIC this morning however they could not give me any update as the file is sitting with NDVO and suggested me to contact NDVO.

Please advise if i should send an email to NDVO asking for an update even though i have a representative. And, if i should send , then should it be sent from the Applicant or the Sponsor?

  4. This is misread.
Anyone can leave canada. The rule says an applicant cannot leave canada making some other country as a country of their residence.

this means you can go anywhere in the world as a tourist visit (say for 2-6 weeks) and come back to canada.

It only means that at any point of time even when you are visiting india, your need to make sure that your country of residence is canada.

    no issues otherwise.

THIS IS BASED ON MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE IN DECEMBER 2016. I DID VISITED INDIA DURING MY APPLICATION

  7. When I applied for GCMS notes nothing changed, but when they released notes it states "NO additional Documents are required"

How ever this could be a new update in their system.

Somebody in similar timeline with any updates??

    App Received : 22 JUN 2017
    AOR 1 : 28 JUL 2017

    Medical Requested : 15 AUG 2017
    AOR 2 : 04 SEP 2017
    BCG : Not Applicable

  10. I believed that should be perfectly fine.
However, i would suggest you to call CIC call center and when the officer agrees that you can visit India ask him to send this confirmation to your email ID. So this way you also have a proof that a CIC employee was in knowledge of it and even he said it was okay to visit.
